Barnet Labour is encouraging residents and businesses to respond to a consultation for a new train line that will link Hendon and Brent Cross to west London.
A new west orbital railway is projected to commence at Hendon and Brent Cross West before travelling through nine other stations and arriving at Hounslow.
It will enable connections with the Jubilee, Bakerloo and Central Lines without having to travel into inner London, as well the Elizabeth Line that runs to Heathrow airport and the Lioness line which connects to Watford.
Barnet Labour’s Councillor Alan Schneiderman, Cabinet member for Environment and Climate Change, said: “I want to encourage as many residents and businesses as possible to respond to this consultation, which will improve public transport options for travelling to west London, Heathrow and beyond.”
