The Barnet Conservatives have revealed the Council Tax increases they say are necessary if they are elected.
They published their council tax bombshell in the illustrative model for their budget amendment.
Their model shows the following council tax increases over the next three years:
2027/28 – 13.59%
2028/29 – 13.59%
2029/30 – 13.59% and,
2030/31 – 5.02%
This is a total council tax increase of 53.9% or an increase of £874.59 for a band D household.
