Barnet Labour’s voteshare in the Finchley Church End by-election on Thursday 6th February 2025 increased.
Candidate Beverley Koteh won 29 per cent of the vote, compared to a Labour vote of 26 per cent in 2022.
Barnet Labour’s Leader Councillor Barry Rawlings said: “We are making difficult decisions at the council to clear up the Conservatives’ mess.
“For us to improve our voteshare in a traditionally Conservative ward shows that residents have confidence in us to do the job, while fixing our streets, bringing down anti-social behaviour and keeping council tax low.
“It is also a testament to Beverley who was a terrific and hard-working candidate. I want to thank her and everyone who voted Labour.”
