West Finchley councillors have welcomed plans to ensure that Finchley continues to be home to a cinema and a bowling alley.
The Great North Leisure Park, which is currently home to a bowling alley and a cinema, is due to be redeveloped for much needed housing.
However, developer Regal have submitted plans to replace the cinema and bowling alley at Lodge Lane.
West Finchley Councillor Danny Rich said: “ We desperately need new housing in Finchley, but I know some residents were worried about losing amenities. But its wonderful to see plans to ensure there is still a cinema and bowling alley in the area.”
