East Finchley Councillors have welcomed more than 50 trees being planted in the ward during the summer of 2024.

The 53 trees in total have contributed to the Barnet Labour’s target of planting 1,000 trees per year.

East Finchley Councillor Arjun Mittra said: “Barnet Labour takes pride in the borough after the years of a stagnant Conservative administration.

“New trees in the ward are a boost, and will help us improve our air quality as well as the beauty of our neighbourhoods.”
